PARROT -- mocking spirit, or one who speaks only what he hears others or the Father (God) speak. No fresh word
PEACOCK -- A peacock could be considered proud, strut or arrogant while showing off because of fanning out its tail feathers to attract females. The phrase "proud as a peacock" became popular from an advertising campaign by NBC to go with their logo. "Strut like a peacock" is also a common phrase. A Peacock is an analogy to God beckoning or wooing his bride as a male peacock woos the female of its desire. Peacocks have a hidden beauty because of the beautiful and vibrant colors that are hidden in its closed feathers. Peacocks represent the integrity that is only shown when they are willing to open up and show their true colors and show their true beauty. Peacock blue (see Blue in the colors section) is a common color and shown so vibrantly in almost all of the species of peacock. A peacock is known to be a part of royal courts.
